While the world of blogging has grown substantially over the past two years, this is the first time I have taken to blogging. As Publisher/Editor-In-Chief of WestIslipTribune.com, I felt I already had a forum in which to express my opinions. But I soon realized there were many obversational-type tidbits that while not worthy of a story or editorial for The Tribune, still needed to be circulated and perhaps even discussed.
Over the past few months, I have been considering a blog for WestIslipTribune.com as I observed the behavior of the many people I cover for The Tribune. This forum will not be used to embarrass people, but merely to serve as a discussion point for readers of The Tribune. We encourage comments and feedback and hope you enjoy reading this blog.
